Smol Boi | Packing Puzzle
One of our most popular puzzles, the Smol Boi, designed by Lee Baz, is named because she finds the signature piece cute. A block is glued into one of the corners in the box that makes it quite challenging. There are only 47 solutions.
This packing puzzle is a culmination of 7 pieces and made from reclaimed woods from our workshop; some exotic, some common, but all of it would have been destined to the scrap pile. The pieces create a 4 x 3 x 3 unit rectangle shape to fit into the box. The wooden box is made from reclaimed woods that were used for event booth builds. The puzzle is about 2.5 x 2 x 1.75 inches. We have designed the puzzle to give new life to the "less than perfect" pieces from other projects to make something beautiful, unique and fun!
Some pieces may vary in wood species but most will include the following:
Sapele, Black Walnut, Maple, Cherry, White Oak and Ash.
The pieces are finished with matte lacquer.
The box is unfinished pine.
The Cedar Variant
The Cedar Smol Boi is made from naturally fallen Cedar's from our family's property in Chapel Hill, NC. We personally cut the trees, planked, milled and dried the wood. It smells wonderful! From stump to stumped! Play it while you sip your favorite drink and enjoy your day!
