The Seven | Packing Puzzle
Part of the "scrap pack digit series", The Seven is a Tetris inspired, volumetric packing puzzle with a piece in the shape of the number seven. Each piece, besides the actual number shape, is designed to have exactly 7 voxels with only one solution. Designed by Lee Baz, it poses quite a challenge.
This packing puzzle is a culmination of 10 pieces and made from reclaimed woods from our workshop; some exotic, some common, but all of it would have been destined to the scrap pile. The pieces create a 6 x 4 x 3 unit rectangle shape to fit into the box. The wooden box is made from reclaimed woods that were used for event booth builds. The puzzle is about 3.5 x 3 x 1.75 inches. We have designed the puzzle to give new life to the "less than perfect" pieces from other projects to make something beautiful, unique and fun!
Some pieces may vary in wood species but most will include the following:
Sapele, Black Walnut, Maple, Cherry, White Oak and Ash.
The pieces are finished with matte lacquer.
The box is unfinished pine.
